Some medicated cleansers are also available in the market which contains Benzoyl peroxide, Salicylic acid, or sulfacetamide like medicines. These chemicals open up the pores of the skin, closure of which has resulted in acne. After washing your face you can use a moisturizer, By Using moisturizer your skin remains hydrated, but you should take care that the moisturizer which you use should be non-comedogenic.

The second remedy is the use of sunscreen, for prevention of acne you should use sunscreen which has SPF of more than 30, such sunscreen will protect you from both Ultraviolet A and Ultraviolet B rays, other than this you should limit your sunlight exposure, and liquid-based sunscreens are more friendly for acne-prone skin.

Next remedy is you should do exfoliation of your skin regularly. With the exfoliation dead cells of the top layer of skin can be removed and the mixture for exfoliation can be easily prepared at home for these equal parts of salt or sugar should be mixed with coconut oil, gently apply on your face, and after keeping it for some time, clean it with lukewarm water. In some studies, it has been found that for people who take low glycemic diets in the chances of occurrence of acne are low. High glycemic diet products like cakes, pastries, doughnuts, sugary cereals like cornflakes, spike the secretion of insulin in your body, and due to this the production of sebum increases in the body. That is why people who are prone to acne should prefer low glycemic diets like fruits, vegetables, legumes, or nuts. In some studies, it has been found that milk and dairy products have a hormone known as IGF-1 and it is said to be the reason for acne. That is why it has been seen that if acne-prone people if limit the intake of dairy products, the chances of acne get reduced in them.

Next are doing regular exercise, although researchers to establish a relationship between doing and not doing exercise in occurring of acne are limited. But it has been seen by doing regular exercise blood circulation of your whole body improves and due to this nourishment of your skin cells improves which helps in acne prevention and healing of skin cells. in acne prevention completion of sleep is also a very important factor, taking complete sleep reduces the secretion and production of stress hormones in the body, and chances of acne breakout reduce in your body.

In some studies role of zinc has been seen in the prevention of acne. Zinc is a very important micronutrient for our body which plays important role in cell growth, cell metabolism, hormone production, and the immunity function of the body.
